I visited this island with my husband (then boyfri

I visited this island with my husband (then boyfriend) twenty years ago . Lots of things changed; the availability of accommodations which catered to different budgets and clientele; transport system , etc. A few things didn’t change.. the long stretch of beach made famous by its powdery white sands, the warm water of the sea and the majestic sunsets. A silhouette of sailboats against the horizon is a quintessential Boracay scene at sunset .

Surreal. Memories of days when I helped her prepare for her first dance recital; fixing her hair, applying her make up surfaced. This time, I helped her with her hair but she did her own make up as she prepared for her prom. The baby is now a lady.
